About Us
We believe the candles in our homes should be as clean & thoughtful as they are beautiful.
And yet finding truly non-toxic candles felt impossibly hard. We founded The Organic Candle Co. in 2024 because we wanted candles with nothing to hide—free from harmful chemicals, starting with the soil where ingredients are cultivated. When we couldn't find any that lived up to our standards, we made them ourselves right here in Longmont, Colorado.
Every ingredient is transparent—we craft our candles with only verified organic ingredients. Each candle is hand-poured in small batches using verified all-organic wax (coconut, carnauba, sustainably harvested palm, and beeswax), scented only with organic essential oils, set with organic cotton & linen wicks. No animal testing. No synthetics, paraffin, or toxins. Just purely organic ingredients, fully disclosed.
Every choice considers the artisans & growers, the earth, and you. We prioritize fair trade and domestic suppliers, opting for renewable sources and beautiful vessels crafted to live long beyond the burn time. It all reflects a simple conviction: the candles we bring into our homes should honor both the spaces we enjoy and the world beyond our walls.
